Spring Blooms in Goa
Each spring while passing by the Mandovi off Ribandar I keep my eye out for the Gulmohar to bloom by the whitewashed Chapel.

I remember that it was on my way to Bondla, up the hill to my left that I saw this Indian Laburnum, known as Amaltas in Hindi. Twenty minutes of scouring the hillside for laterite stones and ferrying them to the tree and I was ready with a precarious perch to photograph the flowers as they descended from the skies. A scooterist and a pillion stopped on the road below to watch what I was upto. When I was done taking the picture above I waved out to them, and they waved back. It was spring and I descended the hill leaving the Golden Shower behind me.
